Friday’s Flamingo Casino Meat and Slots Niner saw
equally competive results returned, Henri van Aarde first on 22 points
with three players following on 21 points; Cedric van der Ross, Hermus
Venter and Ramon Barlow.
A further five players returned 20 points, Thys
Groenewald adjudged the final prize winner in the count out.

Spur Junior
Challenge and Diamond niner:
|
|
|
Top player in the Thursday Spur Junior Challenge was
Johan Muller. He returned 22 points, one ahead of the runner up Keanan
Aysen.
Jamie Edwards was third. In the medal section of the
same event the orders were reversed with Aysen one under under par on
35, Muller, one behind, on level par.
Dave Wilson, Kevin Wakeford and Nico Ross were were
the successful Diamond Niner players.

June Rhodes Medal

|
On Saturday it is the
June Rhodes monthly medal coupled with 2012 Rhodes Challenge Cup.
Sponsors include the
SPCA and Westley Methodist Church.
Rhodes Challenge Cup
qualifiers include Gerhard Delport 67, Don Fielding 66, Steve Turner
66, Hugh McGibbon 68, Clive Holloway 68, Buck Venter 73, Derek Dobson
69, Wedge Crozier 66, Alan Doherty 67, Kariem Anderson 65, Johnny Higgs
65 and Jacques Gouws 65.

Currently full focus for the younger players is
the Junior Club Matchplay Championships that includes the top eight
2013 strokeplay players. Played off scratch Keanan Aysen plays Joshua
Edwards, Jamie Edwards plays Lyle Mills, Dean Schonegevel plays Johan
Muller and Conor Mcnamara plays Hermus Venter.
